Peace or Chaos?

Happy Friday, Friends!

I hope and trust this post finds you all having a great day as a glorious new day begins to dawn in my Sweet Home Alabama!

Gonna keep it real: this is going to be a short Happy Friday, as I have memories to create with my family today! I am going to share a brief excerpt from Stand Firm & Act Like Men by Joby Martin with Charles Martin. I would highly recommend this book, and while it is for men, we can all learn from and apply the point of this excerpt to our lives.

“Ephesians 6:15 says, “And, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.” Here’s what that means: Do you bring peace or chaos to the circumstances you walk into? Shoes take you somewhere and into something. So when you walk into your home, does it become more peaceful or more chaotic? Do things calm down or escalate? If you’re going to fight for your family, you should be an ambassador for peace every time you walk through the door. Are you?”

If you haven't the patience to work and wait,
